We are proud to announce that Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen will be returning as high patron for the Fundamental Rights Forum 2021.
The president, who was also patron of the previous Forum in 2018, continues to support our mission to unite diverse human rights advocates.
Mr Van der Bellen’s message to delegates will be broadcast from Vienna City Hall, Austria, which will be the beating heart of this year’s event.
The atmospheric, 150-year-old, Neo-Gothic building will host speakers, debates, live events and exhibitions.
Vienna’s City Hall will connect digitally with participants in other city hubs across Europe throughout the Fundamental Rights Forum 2021 on 11 and 12 October.
And, as the #RightsForum21 is the first hybrid event of its kind, it will connect thousands of virtual delegates around the world.
